Committees are an important part of decision-making in the Town of Three Hills. Both citizens and Councillors sit on various committees that oversee a variety of groups and activities.

Municipal Planning Commission (MPC)
The MPC exercises development powers and performs duties of the municipality as laid out in Land Use Bylaw 1458-20. Upon the request of Council, MPC advises Council with respect to achieving the orderly, economical, and beneficial development, use of land, and patterns of settlement in the town.
Regional Subdivision & Development Appeal Board
The Regional Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) is a quasi-judicial the board that hears appeals on planning decisions made by several municipalities across Central Alberta. Learn more HERE!
Three Hills Community Memorial Centre Society
The Three Hills Community Memorial Centre Society is a fundraising committee for the Community Centre and reports to Council. Funds raised go towards improvements to the Community Centre.
