Municipal Government
 Municipal governments (e.g., Town of Three Hills) create local bylaws and deliver services like fire protection, public transit, snow removal, waste management, and park maintenance. They serve specific communities and can include cities, towns, counties, villages, and districts.

Provincial Government
 Provincial or territorial governments (e.g., Government of Alberta) handle matters that affect their entire province or territory, such as education, health care, provincial taxes, affordable housing, and setting the age of majority.

Federal Government
