I moved to Three Hills with my parents in 1959 and have lived in this community since then. I married my wife, Coral, in 1974. We raised our two sons here. They attended the Three Hills School, and Brian and his wife and family continue to live here.

I am a car enthusiast and am one of the original Three Hills Street Freaks members. I joined the Three Hills Fire Department as a rookie in 1987. During this time, I also became an Emergency Medical Responder and served with what was then the Three Hills Ambulance service, which later amalgamated with Kneehill Ambulance. I became the fire chief in 2003. I also received my Level 1 Fire Safety Codes Officer/Investigator title and worked in that capacity with the department. I retired as chief in 2021.

Throughout my working years, I was a small business owner and worked for many years in the oil field industry.

For the past two years I have been a member at large on the Municipal Planning Commission.
